2018 is going to be an incredibly packed year. Not only are anime fans getting a ton of new shows, 2018 sees the return of many franchises fans have wanted more from for quite a while.

Fans have been waiting so long, in fact, that the most anticipated shows of 2018 are sequels to fan-favorites.

The list contains anime's that are set to release in 2018 maybe sequels or new shows but doesnt include shows that are already running for sometime (like One Piece etc).

#10. “High School DxD Hero” (2018)



High School DxD HERO (ハイスクールD×D HERO Haisukūru Dī Dī Hīrō) is the fourth season of the High School DxD anime. The production of the new season was announced on October 22, 2016.

HERO covers the second half of the The Heroic Oppai Dragon arc of the Light Novel in order by Ichiei Ishibumihimself. The new season will be produced by Passione, will be directed by Yoshifumi Sueda, series composition is Kenji Konuta, and characters by Makoto Uno.

Due to the first season's strong premiere on Netflix a few years back. The Season 2 of The Seven Deadly Sins is set to set screens on fire when it finally tackles the Ten Commandments. The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments is currently slated for 24 episodes, much like the first season. The series has recently premiered a recap episode in Japan detailing the events of the first season in preparation for the series' upcoming second season.

While the two six-episode installments were previously slated for late 2017 to early 2018, the staff announced at the panel that they are both slated for 2018 with a break in the middle. The two seasons will have completely separate stories. The staff previously announced that the 12 episodes will be a sequel to the 2000-2001 original video anime.

The last time Fairy Tail debuted new episodes was back in 2016 with Fairy Tail Zero. The anime acted as a prequel to Mashima’s original story as it followed the mages who founded the Fairy Tail guild.

During his hunt of gold, he finds hints of a hidden stash of gold by corrupt criminals. Partnering with an Ainu girl that saves his life from the harsh climates of the north, they venture into a survival adventure to race against the criminals that seek the hidden stash

#3. "Attack on Titan" Season 3 (2018)



Attack on Titan fans recently got their best look at the upcoming third season yet, and with the new key visual for the series introduces a big incoming threat towards Levi Ackerman.

The key visual features Levi Ackerman with his sword on the neck of an intense looking man who his pointing a gun at Levi's face. Fans of the manga know this man is Kenny, and are very happy to get their first look at him.

#2. "My Hero Acadamia" Season 3 (2018)


For fans, the 2018 date is not a surprising one, but it does confirm the show’s comeback schedule. When Toho first made the announcement about season three, My Hero Academia just said the new episodes had been ordered.

#1. "One Punch Man" Season 2 (2018)

Madhouse won’t be animating OPM Season 2, instead J.C.Staff Studios is going to animate the anime but it’s not going to be as good as Madhouse. Anyway fans are excited to watch the new season of One Punch man in 2018.
